The Guitar Hero series was put on ice in 2011, at which time DLC stopped being released for it. Rhythm games like Guitar Hero have lost much of their popularity since the late 2000s. Servers for Guitar Hero will remain online, and songs purchased before the content is taken offline will still be playable in April and beyond.
